Some follow, step by step, until you hear them breathing behind you. You cannot fight everything and you cannot outrun everything. Sometimes the smartest move is to stay quiet, kill your light and wait.Health, hunger and torch batteries all demand attention. A torch that dies at the wrong moment can end a run. A missed meal can slow you down when speed matters most. You learn to count what you have and plan around what you do not.Only what you build inside the start zone is kept. Everything beyond that is temporary, a gamble against the dark. Build well, build smart, and make the start zone a place worth returning to.Desktop: WASD to move, Space to jump, Shift to run, C to crouch, E for the inventory, J for the journal, Esc for settings. Hold the left mouse button to mine a block, right mouse button to place, use or drink. In the bag, right click takes half a stack.\\n\\nMobile: the on-screen stick walks, push it out to run, and the pads jump and crouch. Hold on a block to mine it, tap to place, use or hit. The BAG button opens the inventory and the MENU button opens settings.",
